New Functionality and Quality of Life Updates:

  • Using the "Apply Credits" button at the top of the page for a Series, credits will be reserved for all bookings within the Series.
  • Report Cards can now be created for selected pets and any number of times for a single booking.
  • Tips report now contains links directly to associated Invoices.
  • New tab added to bookings for Individual Services: Filled Intake Forms
  • Broad improvements to performance for Reports and Segments. These changes also improve responsiveness and uptime of core functions like the calendar
  • Vaccine and Birthday client notifications adjusted to send at noon account local time
  • Added PDF export for Report Cards
  • Added Payment Terms to all invoices as well as automatic payment collection
  • Added mapping to QuickBooks for Add-ons and Products
  • When 'pausing' and 'resuming' memberships the activated date will not change, it will remain at the date set when the membership was originally activated
  • Added Gift Card functionality to sell Gift Cards on invoices and issue Cash Credits. Clients can redeem gift cards for credits with associated codes.
  • Added feature to restrict number of pets able to be registered at one time.
  • Added a "No Show" booking status for individual bookings

Tasks are a new feature within BusyPaws to enable you to track and assign the most important activities that need to be accomplished within your business.

@mention or assign team members to ensure they receive notifications and updates, tag #clients or ##pets to generate quick links to their respective profiles.

We've just released additional customizable automated notifications to every account:

  • Membership Purchase
  • Form Submission
  • Boarding Pickup Reminder

Additionally, the default "Welcome" notification can now be triggered to be sent any time a new client registers on your account.

Marketing Campaigns

Messaging within BusyPaws has focused on Transactional (Booking confirmations, automated reminders, payment receipts, etc.) and Conversational content.

Today we're launching Marketing messaging within BusyPaws. Campaigns allow you to message any number of clients within a segment, at any given frequency.

Want to message every client that has taken a particular class, or that you haven't seen in a while? And want to send a message once per month to those clients? No problem, you can do that with Campaigns!

Please note that to begin to send Campaigns you must also configure a custom sending domain. More on custom domains here.

Requirements to deliver Marketing messaging greatly increase and deliverability greatly decreases when compared to Transactional and Conversational email. Marketing messaging can also risk deliverability of all other types of messaging from a domain if reputation begins to slide. Please refer to our article on best practices for messaging to ensure your sending reputation remains healthy!

Tips are a complicated feature to deliver for online payment processing, but is an often requested feature from Grooming and Daycare clients.

Without further adieu, you may configure and accept tips both online and in-person with BusyPaws payment processing.
